You can still enjoy a drink, but go for smaller sizes. Try bottled beer instead of pints, a small glass of wine instead of a large one, or single measures of spirits instead of doubles.

This will make the recommended guidelines go further. Drinking shandies or spritzers will also help keep your unit count down.

It’s also a good idea to buy smaller glasses in so you’re not tempted to pour a large glass which means more units.
